ArtCell #53

This Artcell was a pretty exciting one! We had a fabulous group pop up art show with The Vicious Circle at the former Alvarez Gallery in Stamford, CT. Thank you to all who came out to show us your support!!

The hanging was lots of fun too. There was some type of Santa pub crawl going on, so very amusing to say the least. Across from us, Paul Anthony, long time friend and artist, hung is amazing photography. ( below is one of my favs by Paul)

After the show, we went back to our Greenwich studio where we did our auto draw like we do at each artcell now, (a quick dual auto sketch for each cell), and start our next 5 panel piece, "The Five Functions". The wood we are using came from a furniture maker friend, Kevin Rodel. They are beautiful huge chunky slabs of hardwood. Thank you, Kevin! We plan on connecting the chunks with metal piping. It will become a stand-alone sculptural painting.
